Do the Pats really need a #2 Corner?

Joseph isn't going to be a nickleback to Ras-I

we could always get him for a 1 year deal, and have Ras-I start at nickel for the beginning of the year like McCourty did for the first few games.

Also, if Meriweather starts to suck, we could always put Dowling at FS, where i've read that he may be better suited in the future

I've never liked Dowling at CB, ever.

We need a solid 2nd corner to go next to Joe Haden, but I'm not sure we'll get one in FA.

Apparently Ray Edwards doesn't want to be back in Minnesota, so attempting to go after him would be cool.

Same thing I was thinking, although i'm more focused on a #1 corner. Jonathan Joseph and Antonio Cromartie are guys that appeal to me, not counting Nnamdi since I don't see him coming to us. I've always liked Aqib Talib too. If he can just get his shit together, and if he isn't suspended.

Same here, I think our need for a #1 corner is greater. Especially if we are going to legit compete this upcoming season.

Rocky McIntosh. I think he would help us out in the run defense which isnt so great this year imo. We dont have much depth at the LB position, but when do we....

I know a lot of these guys would be costly but if we could pick up a guy or two at a needed position, that would be big. Dalton could use a guy like Stanton or Bulger that has some experience & wouldn't be very costly.
