Grant Hill has announced his retirement from the NBA.

Hill most recently was with the Los AngelesClippers.

Hill was a seven-time NBA All-Star and was named to the All-NBA First Team in 1997 and the All-NBA Second Team in 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2000. He also won the NBAs Sportsmanship Award in 2005, 2008 and 2010.

Hill was the third overall selection in the 1994 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons.

Kudos to a great career. Wish I was old enough to remember him as a Piston.

Would be very interesting to see how much better his career numbers would look had he been able to stay healthy. He found a way to put together a very nice career even with all the injury issues that plagued him the majority of his NBA career. Was one of my favorite players, and I wish him the best with whatever comes next for him.
