Matt Flynn could lose a starting quarterback job to a rookie with the last name of Wilson for the second consecutive season, but it appears unlikely.

The Oakland Raiders traded for Flynn after they were unable to reach a deal with Carson Palmer and later drafted Tyler Wilson in the fourth round.

The Raiders seem to believe that Wilson is further along than Terrelle Pryor. The Raiders have been encouraged by Pryor's work ethic, but he hasn't developed as much as they had hoped.

Wilson has been getting positive reviews from members of the media that have seen him workout.
