Gonna be just as weird seeing him on the sidelines as it was with Kidd.

"To convince you to stay with us Carmelo, we've gone ahead and hired a coach with no coaching experience."

Now let's just sign Bynum and Gasol. Then Trade for Kobe and we got the old Lakers -_-

Good for fish. Really happy for him, hope he makes a good coach

And believe it or not, 5/25 isnt even his highest contract lol
Warriors gave him 6/37

With he and brian shaw already coaches, the next laker pg coach should be tyronne lue eventually, and maybe steve nash

Oh and he can thank steve kerr for that 5/25
Kerr changed the market for first time coaches and now established college guys are going to want even more

I feel like Fisher is gonna suck.

Also why I questioned Phil as the president. Was after guys he was familiar with, and not necessarily the best candidates.

I would, but I don't think Fisher is going to be good. Doesn't strike me as a guy who can be innovative. Could be wrong

Kerr is different though. Has experience in the front office, between the two I'd go with him

I just have no idea what makes you think fish will suck lol

Hes always been a leader

Maybe he'll suck, but we have absolutely no idea
He was a thrifty player if that means anything
Worked his tail off

New blood isn't the way to go when you're giving him nothing to work with. This Knicks roster is a bunch of pieces from different puzzles.

See, I don't view him as a leader. Yea, he's been on a lot of great teams, but I would never view him as a leader.

He is thrown right in the spotlight too, by being with the Knicks.  If doesn't make a run in the playoffs in the next 2 years, they will probably dump him!
