Retired QB Brett Favre is interested in "starting a new career" in coaching or television down the line.
Favre filed his retirement papers in January and will not be coming back to the field as a player. Though the television and coaching opportunities are sure to come, Favre doesn't plan to jump in full-time on either "any time soon." Favre has been spending his time traveling and following Southern Miss football. "Will I get bored at whatever it is I'm doing? I probably will," Favre said.

Good to hear that this won't end up in a grey haired man dead on the football field. I don't really know how he'll fair on TV, to be quite honest, but we do have Faulk doing TV so..

I have no clue how he'd fair on TV either, but i'm not surprised he's not attempting to come back. You could just see him on the sidelines, and he just looked like he was defeated. I mean, there were times when I really thought he wasn't getting up from some of those hits last year.

I could see him being a QB Coach or something close to that at the most. I couldn't see him being a Head Coach. Peyton Manning on the other hand I could see him being a Head Coach or Offensive Coordinator.

It's going to be interesting what Peyton does when he hangs them up. His options are so plentiful. The guy has a way with words, too, I saw him speak live and it was one of the best speeches I've ever seen. He's an inspirational guy as well.

As for Favre, I just don't know how he'll look and be presented on TV. I have a feeling he will be added to my mute list pretty fast..
