According to John Saraceno of USA Today, Brett Favre just texted him and says he doubts he will play tomorrow night against the Giants, thereby ending his 297-game streak.
I figured this needed its own thread. It is a monster streak he had going, so.

Just put him out there, two hand-offs, a screen pass. Then sit him down.

I agree. Let him get a few plays in at least. It would be a shame to see the streak end.

How about Eli's streak?

It'll be at 100 after tomorrow night's game.

Wow, I thought all he cared about was keeping that streak alive. Hope Tavaris will do well.

I have respect for Favre for not going out, taking 1 snap handing it off, then sitting on the bench the rest of the game. Show he still has a little class left.

I thought there was a rule by the nfl that said that you have to be able to play a whole game with your injury or you cant go out. So his injury was to bad that he couldnt play the whole game.
