Falcons S Erik Coleman will reportedly be released on Tuesday.
As we reported earlier in the day, Coleman's 2011 base salary was set to jump from $2.5 million to $3 million after hitting escalators. Coleman is no longer in the team's plans after losing his starting job to William Moore. He may have to take a backup job elsewhere after starting all 32 games for Atlanta in 2008-2009.
Wouldn't mind seeing the Jags nab him after our safety core is fucking horrible.

Correct me if I'm wrong, Doesn't Delmas start at SS and Amari Spievey start at FS? I doubt they would sign Coleman.

Delmas starts at FS.
We had like 5 different starters at SS last year lol.
But Spievey did indeed end the season at SS.

To be honest, I forgot about Spievey lol. Forgot he made the switch from CB to SS.

Indeed I was haha.
Might compete for starter. But if not should be a solid safety off the bench.

We need any safety help we can get. Hopefully we could snag him, but if not oh well. He'll make an impact somewhere.
