According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Falcons are likely to contact the Browns about the No. 6 overall pick if Georgia WR A.J. Green falls past the Bengals at No. 4.
GM Thomas Dimitroff has a history of moving up and down in the draft, and it's no secret Atlanta needs a field stretcher with Tony Gonzalez in decline and Michael Jenkins' inability to separate. Green would be the split end, deep threat to Roddy White's flanker. It would take a lot of work on Atlanta's part, but sounds like a match made in heaven. The Browns also have so many weaknesses that a trade down might be exactly what they want.

Wow.. I want to believe this is a major smoke-screen, as somebody wouldn't obviously intentionally open up this big of news before the Draft this soon. However, if it is true, this is going to be one interesting year. In a year where it'll be much easier to slide around the Draft board, if the Falcons can snag Green adding with Roddy.. That's solid.

We're not gonna trade down.. We'll take Green or one of the top defensive tackles.

I don't see how you would pass up Green, either.. Or even Julio for that matter. It has been said the Bengals do like Julio more than A.J, but we'll see come Draft day.

The entire Falcons draft doesn't have the value that the Browns first round pick has.

Roddy and Green would be a killer combo.

I can see some real good players slipping down to the Browns.
All of the Falcons selections in the draft have a combined value of like 1300 points, the Browns 1st round selection is like 1500 points just by itself.

If this deal did happen, and I don't think it will, it'd be like a Ricky Williams type deal.

You are just making my point, aha. I just said, the Browns, even if AJ is gone are in that range where a stud few players will be on the board.

They won't really move I don't think if this even opened up.
