Falcons Keep Moore on a 5 year Deal

Well, Big Brother’s memo about not leaking deals has apparently worked, as the only things being announced are things that could have been announced a week ago.​

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Falcons have retained safety William Moore with a five-year deal.​

In Moore’s case, the legal tampering window had some function, because it likely gave him a few hours to gauge how others teams valued him, before realizing the Falcons valued him more highly.​

The Falcons needed the stability in the secondary, after churning their corners by cutting Dunta Robinson and letting Brent Grimes hobble into free agency.​
