Falcons Chasing Carroll

The Falcons' coaching search may be getting juicier. Late Tuesday night, ESPN.com, citing multiple sources, reported that Falcons owner Arthur Blank is pursuing USC coach Pete Carroll. If the Trojans' coach expresses interest, Carroll and Blank could meet this weekend, according to the story, which did not identify the sources. According to the story, the Falcons "might be willing to grant Carroll far-reaching responsibilities." The Falcons on Tuesday said they were extending their simaltaneous searches for a new head coach and general manager.

I really dont see Carroll leaving USC...

I seen alot of coaches they've been intrested in but I'm open to anyone that can get the job done

Miami there's no way he comes here! Parcells wants a Parcells guy not a college coach. We've been back stabbed by a college coach before (NICK SATAN) there's no way we sign another now. I think the Falcons should follow that as well. Why would you go after ANOTHER college coach who was bad in the NFL before and can back stab you just as easy as the last 2 coaches in the league have to their teams (yours being one). This is just Blank going after the big name instead of the coach he needs.

ummm. Carroll is a NFL coach, who now coaches NCAA... he was coach in New England AFTER Parcells being there.. but not likely he'd go there anyway
