Who do you guys want for your team?

There has been a lot of discussion about Brandon Mebane, and possibly even Leon Washington for the Colts. To be quite honest, I wouldn't mind either. Mebane would obviously be my first choice as this is a big time animal inside, and would help our defense big time right away.

Leon Washington would be an instant upgrade in the KO return game for the Colts. An area we have lacked for years.. We've had major issues getting good field position on our special teams, and this is in large part due to the fact we haven't had a dynamite return man. I think we may be able to pick somebody up like a Locke in the Draft, but Washington would be a nice touch.

Would like the Browns to target Lance Moore, and then any decent CB and pass rusher on the line.

Aso (I know the money would be tight, but if there is anyway possible to get Revis and Aso on the same team you have to try to make it work), Champ Bailey (assuming Cro leaves), if we can't sign Braylon back I hope we look at MSW, Early Doucet, and bringing Santana Moss back into the dark green, Melvin Bullitt, and OJ Atogwe.

The Jets won't have enough to go big in Free Agency.

Bullitt, Atogwe, Bailey, MSW will all command more than the Jets would pay for them. MSW isn't anything too special anyways.

Jags are expected to pull a few names for Free Agency this year, just like last year (Aaron Kampman, Kassim Osgood).

People I know the Jags will be interested in.

James Jones
OJ Atogwe
Bob Sanders
Jason Babin (Jags had interest in him in 2010, we flew him in for an interview, but we opted to go for Kampman instead. I'm sure with his big season last year, we'll go ahead and sign him this year)

I'd cry to see Bob in Jacksonville colours.. </3 :p Could happen though depending what he expects in money. I hope he still doesn't think he can make serious bucks..

James Jones makes sense for you guys. He's a dynamite type of guy, he's a lot of high risk/high reward, but he would add another element to your offense for sure.

OJ is a stud..

ESPN.com's Paul Kuharsky believes recently released safety Bob Sanders could be a target for the Texans, Jaguars, and Titans.
It makes sense for Sanders to stay in the AFC South, as he knows the division and would get to square off against the Colts at least twice next season. The Texans and Jaguars both need help at the position, while the Titans could be looking to give starter Chris Hope some competition. It remains to be seen if any team is willing to give Sanders more than the league minimum.
I'm sure we'd be interested in him, and we'd offer him a low base salary contract with high incentives based on playing time. So if he stays healthy, he'd get more money.

Of course you guys will target him like that. I told you earlier in the season, your safety situation is very dicey, and you guys will address it. Getting Bob and having him stay healthy is one damn risky move though.. You think Gene Smith would take that kind of risk? I'm asking you as a Jaguars fan. I think he may go and look for somebody more sure fire, and continue to build with nice talent in the Draft.

There is also talk Bob going back to Indy after testing the FA waters isn't out of the question... We'll see.

If Braylon/Cro leave, we'd have the money that we would've been paying them to replace them with someone else, don't think any of those guys are out of reach based on what Braylon and Cro were getting.

Who I would like the Lions to go for this offseason is:
OJ Atogwe
Stephen Tulloch or Chad Greenway
Champ Bailey but I dont see this happening.
Braylon Edwards or Steve Breaston
Ronnie Brown if we could get him cheap. Would be a good change of pace from Best and would take less of the load off Best.
Could add more but this is what Im hoping for.

I think we could go after him now because he could be cheap. We did the same thing with Aaron Kampman last offseason who was injured the year before. Even if we do sign Bob, we'll still address the safety position in the draft.

I think you got it mixed up, They're letting Cro leave because they don't have money to sign him due to Braylon/Holmes. They won't be able to sign anybody really.

Makes sense for sure. It will be an interesting FA period for many teams..

Rahim Moore in the Draft for the Jags?

I like Moore, not really in the 1st though. If he was to fall to the 2nd, then I'd be all for him. He's only the best safety because its a very weak safety class. If he would of been in the draft last year, he would be a near 3rd-4th rounder.

I agree. I really like Moore and his upside, he's definitely the top in this class. I wouldn't sniff him in the first round (it really surprises me some Mocks do have him going to you). I think you guys will go pass rusher, and the trendy thing is to put a QB to you guys, but I don't know if Gene Smith will jump like that.

Which is why I said if we let Braylon/Cro go. If we let them both go, we will have enough to sign a replacement, if we don't let them go, then we're gonna have them on our squad and won't have to sign anyone.

I'd be shocked if the Saints let Moore go. We may get rid of Henderson to keep Moore.

Nope, won't go DLine in the 1st. We spent the whole draft last year on Dline (Tyson Alualu, D'Anthony Smith, Austen Lane, Larry Hart) They all outside of D'Anthony due to injury looked pretty decent for rookies. We'll see how they do this year. We'll either go CB or QB in the 1st.

Brandon Harris makes the most sense for you guys.. If he is still around and the Lions don't select him.
