Browns head coach Romeo Crennel stated emphatically this week that Brady Quinn will be Cleveland's starting quarterback in 2009. Crennel might not be Quinn's head coach next season, however.

Crennel will need a miracle finish with Derek Anderson at quarterback to save his own job, sources told ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen.

Quinn will miss the rest of this season with a broken finger on his throwing hand.

Several notable names will be available for a potential opening in Cleveland.

Among the names topping a possible candidate list: Bill Cowher, Marty Scottenheimer, and coordinators like the Jets' Brian Schottenheimer, the Giants' Steve Spagnuolo, the Titans' Jim Schwartz, the Falcons' Mike Mularkey and the Ravens' Rex Ryan.
I hope he does get fired.. He seems like a nice guy but he is a bad head coach... They list all these coordinators as possible people to take over.. We better not sign one, I don't want to experiment with another coordinator as Head Coach, give me Cowher or Schottenheimer.

but then he's gotta fix that. He's not.

DOnt blame this on the players. A lot of blame has to go towards this guy.

But it is his fault they are still throwing to them lol

Coach is always the first to go, that's how it is, even if it's not their fault.

They're not gonna finish strong... he's as good as gone. Especially with Ken Dorsey starting for the rest of the season.
