Eric Smith Fined & Suspended

New York Jets DB Eric Has been Fined $50,000 and suspended for one game for the helmet to helmet hit on Anquan Boldin, that knocked Boldin unconcious.

Here's the link. He should be a little more careful when trying to make a tackle. I hope Anquan gets better, as he's a really good reciever and one of my favorites-.

Yeah, I was watching the game when it happened. Right when he got hit I was like HOLY SHIIT. I really hope Anquan's fine and I agree with the penalty. But I don't think he meant to hit him helmet to helmet, it's just the way it ended up. Either way, I'm sorta surprised the suspension wasn't worse.
