For the second time in as many months, a report is out that has Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade soon will leave Nike's Jordan Brand for a shoe deal with China-based Li-Ning.
SneakerWatch.com reported Thursday it "has received confirmation that Dwyane Wade will no longer be repping Jordan Brand."
Asked Friday about the report, Wade told the Sun Sentinel, "We're still negotiating, until you get to the point where you decide which way to go. There's many shoe companies that obviously know that I'm up this summer. But I still have the respect for and the obligation and the willingness to sit down and to the company I'm with."
Current NBA players who endorse Li-Ning include Jose Calderon, Evan Turner and Hasheem Thabeet.
