Seattle Times -
Kevin Durant and Jeff Green will be going back to school this summer.

"Man, if some of my teachers could hear me talking like this they would get a kick out of this," said Durant. "But I'm not going to lie. I miss school. When I left, I was glad that I didn't have to go to class anymore and study hall, but I kind of miss it a little bit."

Durant and Green will not play with the Sonics summer league team in Orlando because of their decision to take classes.
Well I guess the whole school first rule still comes into effect lol.

Haha, smart. Make some green while going to school on the off-time. I guess it's the best idea since they aren't in college anymore. I'm one who wants to stay in college the whole 4 years, but heck, I don't have the talent they do. And it is good to see that school comes first.

If he wanted to go to school, he should of stayed at Texas and won a National Championship

Agreed, both of them should of stayed all 4 years.
Neither should/will stay all 4 years, their oppurtunity is too good.

You can dream about their championships all you want, but Durant should've absolutely gone pro after year 1...

But if they would of stayed in college, they could of become more well-rounded. Durant can only score, and if he would of stayed, he would of gotten better at scoring, defense, rebounding...etc. And Green could obviously use the extra years.

Durant has fine rebounding and defensive ability, the problem is he is too soft, which is something that he could work on in HS/college/pro, etc.

Passing up being the Top 2 pick in order to become more well rounded is just dumb, he's a fine player as he is...

Not really, cause then he could of been a #1 pick any other year, and a finer player.

Would he be the #1 pick over Beasley?

I think we all know the answer...

I know this doesn't mean much, and I have a huge man crush on Beasley, but...

Durant and Beasley played on a UAU team together.

Durant took all the shots.
