Going to be hilarious when he bolts to the Lakers and people hail it as a great move for LA. Might be the worst executive in the league

How much is Dolan paying Jackson to run the team? Its upward of 12M right? If you're paying a guy that much to run the team and you can't trust him to find the right coach, then he doesn't need to be running the team.

I really thought Phil wouldnt be this stubborn. I like that he wants to build through the draft, but these coaching decisions are stupid and his comments on twitter and to the media are dumber. Just pick the talent Phil.

It's roughly $12 Million a year.

I hope Dolan stops us from hiring Rambis. The guy is flat-out awful.

What has he done to suggest he can do this?

A year ago they scouted draft prospects based on how they would "fit in the triangle" and a year later they hire a coach who clearly won't be running the triangle.

But don't worry, Phil knows what hes doing. Magic, baby!

So you give philly 10 years to rebuild but you want phil do it in a year? Chill. Its a process. He'll get it done

Tough to rebuild when they got no draft picks.

Although I think after this year they have most of their picks.

Philly has absolutely nothing to do with what I said, and that still doesn't answer what there is to suggest he knows what he's doing

Exactly. I get rebuilding - I've seen the Mets do it, but they at least had a plan. The Knicks... I'm not quite sure what their plan is. And Phil has already had 1 unsuccessful coach, 1 unsuccessful interim coach, and questionable signings (Afflalo, overpaying Lopez, re-signing Melo and giving him a No Trade Clause). Aside from drafting Porzingis I haven't seen anything to suggest he knows what he's doing.

I agree with 2SG

The Knicks have two players who aren't average at best. Give the rebuild some time
