DeSean Jackson Leaves Rosenhaus, Likely To Sign With Jay-Z

DeSean Jackson has parted ways with agent Drew Rosenhaus and could soon sign with Jay-Z's Roc Nation Sports.
Jackson signed with Rosenhaus in November 2009 during his second season. Jackson sought a new deal, but there was never a restructuring agreed upon at that point.
Jackson eventually agreed to a five-year, $51 million deal in 2012.

I literaly know nothing about anyone in his agency, but it seems puzzling to me to leave an established, pretty damn good agent to sign with a guy who is just entering the business.

But again, he probably has a decent stable of agents in his agency.

....and Desean Jackson happens to owe Drew Rosenhaus about $400k in unpaid loans.  Surprise, surprise.

All this on the heels of news that Chip Kelly has D-Jax working with the 2nd & 3rd team offenses at OTA's.  Beginning of the end for this guy's career.

I don't have a problem with how Chip is working with his players, having them go in 2nd and 3rd units.

The Eagles have made it clear, they don't have a clear cut #1 QB. Vick is the 1st team, Foles the 2nd, Barkley is the 3rd. Foles is a 2nd year player who played 3 games with Desean (8 total catches), and Barkley is a rookie. Building chemistry with Foles and Barkley should be a must, knowing how bad Mike Vick was last year. Desean will be the #1 reciever come Week 1, but it is a really good idea for a team with QB competition to move receivers between 1st teams/2nd teams/3rd teams to improve their chemistries

Running with the 2nd & 3rd string goes way beyond who's throwing the ball.  If Kelly wanted his WR's to work with all three QB's then he'd keep splitting the 1st team QB Reps which, oh by the way, he is.  This is something being talked about in Philly as something Kelly hopes to motivate Desean to work harder and become more than just a one-dimensional guy.  Unfortunately for the Eagles, D-Jax' attitude isn't the greatest and he's already getting paid.  Dude will be the top target week 1 regardless so why bother pissing him off now?
