Wow. I can't believe that is the best they could have done.

What were yall expecting? Derrick Williams does not hold that much value anymore.

He has to hold more value than Mbah a Moute. You don't trade a former 2nd overall pick for a trade filler this early into his career.

I wouldn't say Mbah A Moute is a trade filler. He holds value to teams like Minnesota as a rotational defensive guy.

He's going to make that team better than Williams did. And he won't get in Adelman's dog house.

And this isn't a Thomas Robinson type of situation. Williams is in his third season, has played nearly thirty five hundred minutes in the league, and hasn't gotten better. Maybe he's even gotten worse. Like I said when Robinson was traded, teams know more than we do, and obviously they were comfortable enough trading him for Mbah A Moute.

dont get me wrong, ive said plenty of times that dwill was too much of a tweener to be a starter or even 6th man but imo he holds more value than luc

I think Minnesota is still short on shooters. They should have tried to snag somebody else, imo.

DWill now has his chance. he's going to get some minutes. im guessing the kings arent done. Patterson, JT or Hayes will be dealt

I'd rather have Luc over Williams, even though Derrick probably had more value

I like the trade for Minny. They aren't a team that needs to wait for potential to develop, it's time for them to go all in and make the playoffs. Luc is better for them than Williams was.

The talent's certainly there, hopefully a change of scenery is just what the doctor ordered.
