Belicheck coached teams are repeat offenders in violating league rules. I feel like it's time to drop the hammer on those guys.

There was some Patriots blog/news site twitter account claiming that they weren't actually investigating the Patriots, and the investigation was aimed at the Colts. I need to find that twitterer.

This is the most ridiculous report ever.

All of Wells' report is based assumptions about Brady, and nothing about Belichick, Kraft, or any other player on the New England Patriots.

And the main basis regarding Brady was that he asked those involved with maintaining the balls to be around 12.5psi (a legal limit), and to deflate the balls less than what was from the Jets game, which was put at over 16psi (which is in fact OVER the limit). Never once does Brady ask for the ball to be inflated below the legal limits, not detailed on any of the 243 pages detailed by Wells. Everything is presumed, with no factual evidence whatsoever.

If there is any punishment to the Patriots organization, I will be irate. The worst case punishment should be a one game punishment for Brady, which I still think is too harsh knowing there is nothing that explicitly states Brady did something against the rules of the NFL.

Literally has nothing to do with Belichick at all, whatsoever. Even Wells says Belichick was uninvolved.

lol @ "drop the hammer". If anyone is to blame, its Brady, but not Belichick at all.

This ain't a CSI show, hard evidence isn't always available.

I think this is stupid though. It's not important. But I guess it's a rule.

Then you can't make any type of ruling about it. Simple as that.

Like actually, how does the Wells Report make the Patriots guilty. His main thesis behind his 243 page report, which took over 100 days, is that Tom Brady more likely than not knew what was going on.

Like, really? That's your report? Even if Brady is guilty, you can't penalize him from this report.

That doesn't matter to the NFL. We have seen what happens when the defense is "I had no knowledge of what was going on." Goodells own words "Ignorance is not an excuse," or "if you did not know, you should have." Best indication of the future is the past and the past says because this is Belichicks TEAM, the league will discipline him. I don't agree with that stance in the least, but it's past precident.

This is assuming that Goodell is competent enough to use consistancy when handing down these rulings and in the past he hasn't.

My prediction is that the Patriots get a minor penalty like a fine or something like that.

Ray Farmer got suspended for 4 games for texting, so I am also curious as to how this works.
