Decker will get chance to start for Broncos



According to the Denver Post, 2010 third-round pick Eric Decker stands "a good chance" of being a starter in his second year. Decker's rookie year was delayed by a Lisfranc fracture suffered during his senior season at Minnesota, but he has the talent to unseat Jabar Gaffney as a physical, possession complement to Brandon Lloyd. Though he caught just six passes in 2010, Decker contributed heavily on special teams, averaging 25.3 yards per kick return with eight tackles on kickoff and punt coverage.

Decker was good at Minnesota, one of their few bright spots. I think he'll be a good contributer.

Decker will be a solid possession and slot WR in the NFL. The sexy trend in the league is to use the small, undersized slot WR like Wes Wlker to catch a lot of passes and keep the defense honest. I can't really see it any differently in Denver now.
