According to sources, the Dallas Cowboys have contacted several NFL teams about trading Roy Williams. That is the safety Roy Williams.

Williams, 28, is set to make $4.4 million in 2009 and could be released if the Cowboys cannot find a suitable trade. Williams suffered a broken forearm last season, only appearing in 3 games. Aside from struggling with coverage most of his career, Williams has not been a good fit for Dallas' 3-4 defensive scheme. -AE
