The Dallas Cowboys and head coach Jason Garrett have agreed to a new contract, according to Todd Archer of ESPN.
There was little doubt the Cowboys would keep Garrett after the job he did in 2014. Dallas captured the NFC East and reached the postseason for the first time since 2009, while winning a playoff game in the process.
No financial terms have been disclosed as of yet, but Nick Eatman of DallasCowboys.com of the team's website reports that the deal is worth $30 million over five years.
With Garrett back in the fold, the Cowboys will now turn their attention to bringing back other key members of their core.
Dallas also reportedly agreed to terms with defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli on Tuesday.
Next up will be free agents DeMarco Murray and Dez Bryant.
