Michael Curry is expected to replace Doug Collins as head coach of the Philadelphia 76ers if a move is made by the front office, according to sources.

Curry is expected to be a candidate for the job in the long-term.

Curry had a brief tenure as head coach of the Detroit Pistons.

I read about this earlier, why would they let go of Collins?

6 game losing streak, 5 games out of 8th, and the stuff he said the other night. probably just the media overreacting.

something about no effort and not looking like they want to win and if the starters dont want to the bench will. it all made sense so idk why theyd blow it out like that though.

If they can get Bynum back, they'll be a force within a couple of years, and Doug Collins is the best coach even available to them. It'd make no sense to ditch him.

Doug Collins always wears out his welcome. Everyone knew he was a 2-3 year stop gap anyway. Probably best to move on.
