Cuban Says Sorry, IN BLOG

Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has apologized to Nuggets forward Kenyon Martin and his mother for their verbal back-and-forth in the latest posting on his blog.

Cuban has been accused of calling Martin a "thug" or a "punk," but as Cuban said on the Tuesday morning posting, "That has become irrelevant."

"I shouldn't have said anything. Now, the reality is that this has gotten out of hand," Cuban wrote.

"When tempers and such start impacting the fan experience both in Dallas and Denver, and it requires special security, that's not what I want for Mavs or Nuggets fans. No one takes more abuse and gets more threats on the road than I do. So I know exactly how it feels," Cuban wrote. "I've also had my family and friends spit on at games in this series. So I know how unpleasant that is as well.

"So at this point I would like to apologize to you and your mom, KMart, for my comment. I should have not said anything and I was wrong. Hopefully you will accept the apology and we can move on."

Cool you said sorry, but in your blog!? Be a man and say sorry in person.. and apologize on behalf of your <Censored>ty fans for throwing stuff at a man's wife and a man's mother.

I'll point this out again...as the whole incident began over a no-call at the end of Game 3...

If the Mavs want to win bad enough, then be up by more than 2 in the final seconds. Don't be bad enough in the clutch that you have to rely on an intentional foul in order to win. The first Nuggets bucket & the last are no different...and in the end, Dallas didn't stop Denver from scoring more than they.

Just like in boxing or MMA...if you want to win the fight outright, then don't leave it up to the judges.

Mark Cuban is the eggshell in the cake that is the NBA. Dude should have apologized on national TV, because he said it on TV. If you do the crime, you must pay the time.
