Today, he caught a Touchdown pass for his 1,000th reception of his career.
He is now 5th on the all-time list.

What better way to have your 1,000th reception of your career be for a touchdown that was the spark to the beginning of the 49ers comeback against the Rams, who just happen to be Issacs` old team, to win 17-16?? I can`t think of very many.

Congrats to Issac. He has always been one of my favorite players to watch, him and Torry Holt when they were teammates, and till today because they are both class acts. Could not have happened to a better guy. He definately deserved it.

I`m not sure about that, but if it is, or he wasn`t sure if it was going to be or not, that might`ve just helped him decide.

I mean, he is getting up there in age, at 36, and he has been around for a while, has won a ring(Super Bowl XXXIV, the infamous play "The Tackle" of Matt Jones on Kevin Dyson, causing him to fall just short of the TD), and he is now on the short list of receivers with 1,000 receptions in their career. It`d be a good way to go out, but I could see him maybe staying for another year, or at least trying and seeing how he feels, and decide from there.

At any rate, he is a great talent and will definately be rememeber as one of the greatest receivers of All-Time, IMO.
