Who do you see your team using a compliance buyout on?
 
I see us using ours on Liles and Grabovski. As much as I want us to keep Grabovski as he has become one of my favourite Leafs, he isn't a 5.5 million dollar player. 
 
I'll pass on using it on Komisarek. The guy has one year left after this one, so it would be a waste.

To be fair, he wouldn't have lost his job if he were able to properly rebuild that franchise, but that Liles contract is bad.

New ownership didn't like his style, both the way he tried to build a team and the way he handled the media.
 
He was very hypocritical. For example in business, you never use absolutes. Burkie did and often said he would "never" do something and turned around and did it.

Fed 'em shit and leave 'em in the dark. Smart, but, obviously, a no-go in Toronto.
 
Back to the topic at hand, it wouldn't surprise me to see Boston use it on a guy like Kelly or maybe even Peverley.
