From what I hear, he had been sober for 10+ years.  Kind of sad, really, if true.  I've experienced family members relapsing after months, even years of sobriety.  It's tough to watch.

Its sad that he relapsed, but it's not sad that he got behind a wheel. It's downright awful and dispicable. You own a billion dollar franchise. Get a driver.

I heard he was sober for 15+ years, but with some of the pictures I've seen of the guy, even he relapsed it wasn't recently.

Oh yeah, definitely.  I've always hated drunk drivers.  The situation itself sucks, though.
