I am glad they cut Korolev, I mean wasn't this their 13th overall pick who averaged like 4 points and 3 rebounds on his professional team before the NBA, if someone is averaging that and isn't being off and on, thats a pretty good indicator on not to draft him, I was mad when they drafted him over so many other players that can actually play.October 25, 2007
Clippers Waive Ffriend, Diaz and Korolev
The Los Angeles Clippers today waived forwards Kimani Ffriend and Yaroslav Korolev and guard Guillermo Diaz. The Clippers roster now stands at 15 players.
Signed by the Clippers on Oct. 1, Ffriend appeared in one preseason game, scoring four points in 11 minutes. Diaz averaged 5.7 points and 1.7 assists in seven preseason contests, while Korolev appeared in six preseason games, averaging 4.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 assist.
