Clippers To Pursue "Big Name" Coach?

The Los Angeles Clippers will pursue multiple big name candidates before opening their coaching search, according to a source.

Among those candidates are Jeff Van Gundy, Stan Van Gundy, Brian Shaw and Lionel Hollins.

Alvin Gentry, Byron Scott and Michael Malone are also considered candidates for the Clippers.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Brian Shaw be a top target of the Clippers. Yet another move that would heat up the Clippers-Lakers rivalry. That being said, I also think that Byron Scott would be a perfect fit out there in L.A. He's got a great relationship with Chris Paul, and I think he'd be able to work very well with the roster that they have currently set up there.
