The Chicago Bulls and Golden State Warriors have completed a sign-and-trade for C.J. Watson, according to sources. Watson, who was a restricted free agent, will be dealt to Chicago in exchange for a second round pick. He has agreed to a three year, $10.2 million deal with the Bulls.

It's coming together...

C - Joakim Noah / Omer Asik
PF - Carlos Boozer / Taj Gibson
SF - Luol Deng / James Johnson
SG - Ronnie Brewer / Kyle Korver
PG - Derrick Rose / C.J. Watson

Just need to pickup another big man in case Asik isn't ready and hopefully another shooter, then we'll be set.

Are we planning to do this all again in three years though? What's up with all the three-year deals?

Not a bad deal, they needed that backup point. I've always like Watson's game too.

Well they should change the list because he's not going to break out backing up an all-star PG.

I kind of wish JJ went to Chicago. Would be a better situation. The Bulls are clearly trying to go after big FAs in 2013, though.

With what cap space? They'll have Carlos Boozer on his big deal, Rose will be set to get the max in 2013, Noah will have a contract probably around 9-10 mill per season before 2013 starts and Deng makes 13 mill in 2013.

In no way do I picture Deng being a Bull in 3 years. He's come up in trade talks every summer. Anyways, I hear what you're saying, but they wouldn't be offering all these 3 year deals if they weren't planning on striking in free agency 3 years from now.
