CJ Spiller has "indefinitely" left the Bills to deal with a family matter

I'm not going to find an article, but apparently on the same day as the Bills last preseason game, his step-grandfather commit suicide after killing two other individuals and hurting two others, as well. As soon as the Bills team plane landed after the Washington game, Marrone told Spiller to go home for as long as he needed to. A time table wasn't even considered, and I applaud Marrone for this.

What an awful, awful situation. Also unfortunate, is the fact that so many people need situations like this to be reminded that athletes have many of the same problems we do. Tragedy strikes us all.

I doubt he misses a game, as his family will want a distraction, anyway, but who could blame him if he misses a week or two?

I have Fred Jackson on my bench because I still think he's going to get good reps, but he'll be back quickly.

I highly doubt CJ Spiller stays healthy, so Fred Jackson is a good pickup, regardless.

We take this shit serious, bro. Big fantasy news.

Spiller is returning to the team Sunday ... I don't know why the articles insisted on saying "indefinitely".

Only thing that has me worried is that he might be emotionally unstable, like Dareus was last year after his brother died.

So should I pick up Fred Jackson?
New England has an overall solid run defense, so unless its Lance Dunbar vs FredJ starting for you, it's not worth it

If you're drafting CJ Spiller, definitely grab Freddy later if you can. That goes for quite a few backs actually. Handcuff them if ya know what I'm sayin'. I know you Foster owners want Tate.
