Chris Johnson had a career-low 1,047 yards rushing in 2011, but he believes that he has found the Pro Bowl version of himself again.

“If you go back to years prior, you can see I am in the game and I am really never coming out,” Johnson said. “Last year, I can say throughout the whole season, after two or three plays I needed to come out and take a break or whatever.

“I can’t really say for sure when I got into tip-top shape, but it was toward the end of the year. I’d say around the Tampa Bay game.”

“Looking at him with the naked eye, it’s night and day compared to last year. Cuts, conditioning, his confidence — it’s all there,” running backs coach John Skipper said. “Having a training camp, it helps because it builds your endurance, gets you in football shape. And from that standpoint, it’s night and day. …

“Chris is working hard. His attitude has been excellent. He is busting his tail. And hard work equals good results.”
Hopefully he's able to regain that form, the league is better when he's playing well.

I hope so. He'd be a huge boost for Locker. He made Vince freakin Young better. I'd like to think the results would be even better with a real QB at the helm.
