well actually now it looks like ESPN was jumping the gun, and a deal is actually unlikely according to ESPN right now.

IF that is the case, I'm still on the Todd Haley bandwagon

I would scoop up Shanny without a doubt. It's going to take a guy with Shanahan's brains and background to turn this team around. Re-establish a huge focus on the offensive and defensive fronts, go from relying on 1, unhappy, unfocused, and unhealthy running back to several...and develop a franchise quarterback.

Todd Haley is a nice coordinator but nobody was talking about him until the NFC Championship game. In Mike Shanahan, you've got a guy with a proven track record of success.
