Luol Deng is open to discussing a contract extension with the Cleveland Cavaliers, but he also understands why the Cavs might want to put off those talks to first focus on trying to sign another All-Star small forward.

Dumb, an all-star SF landed in your lap, don't pussyfoot around. If you can extend him, do it.
 
Not to mention they can afford both if they move around enough pieces. If LeBron actually wants to come back, a million or two away from the total max isn't going to deter him.
 
This really isn't a report though, it's speculation. The Cavs will extend Deng if he's willing and it's reasonable.
