The Cavaliers have made forward J.J. Hickson untouchable in trade talks in the past, but Bob Finnan of The News-Herald writes that may be changing.

Hickson isn't happy with his reserve role and after entering the season as Cleveland's most promising player he's been far from it.

Hickson doesnt accept his reserve role with the team. I think they should trade him if this doesnt change

I still don't understand the hype with this guy. I never see him becoming anything special like Cleveland seems to believe.

Because of his rare athleticism and speed with still good size at PF with an improving jump shot.

He's been slacking as of late. He deserves to be coming off the bench. I think they should try to trade him, but his stock probably isn't as high as when he was actually doing good.

There are some teams that are rebuilding who can use a guy like Hickson. Such as the Raptors, we lack rebounding which Hickson could bring. And imagine how much athleticism (as cheato said about Hickson) the Raptors would have with a DeRozan and Hickson duo. I'm just thinking. Not saying it's going to happen.

Hickson doesn't do much rebounding, that's one of the reason he lost playing time.

I dunno. Evans is one of the best rebounders in the league, but he is injured right now.

Ehh... I just don't see him becoming a star in the league. He could have some decent seasons where he averages 14-16 points a game, but I see that for maybe a 4-5 year stretch, nothing more. I don't see him ever being a force in the NBA.

he reminds me of Brandon Bass
maybe he can be a little better?

he's in the Andray Blatche caliber player mold at best though
