Carmelo 'Doubts' He'll Sign With Lakers In 2014
Carmelo Anthony was asked by paparazzi in Hollywood about the possibility of signing with the Los Angeles Lakers next offseason.

Anthony has an early termination option on his contract with the New York Knicks in 2014 and was asked if he could see himself in a "purple and gold outfit."

"Uh, I doubt it," Anthony answered. "It's not a outfit, though."

"I'm reading between the lines, dude," said the paparazzi. "I think I'm going to see you in one soon."

"I don't think you should read between the lines," Anthony replied. "I don't think you should do that. It's not good to read between the lines."

No "doubt", just say you won't.
Yeah like Rondo saying he will never play for the Heat lol

Melo just likes all the drama honestly and it wouldn't surprise me if the the Knicks aren't a factor championship wise this year that he looks elsewhere.

it's fucking stupid though. It's not like he's helped us get to the finals, especially considering his playoff performance this year.

You're right, but that's just the way the league is these days honestly, if you don't win one place move on and try again instead of sticking it out with a team you know? When you lose you look for excuses, and a lot of the time players will find that excuse.
