Assets: Supremely athletic in the crease, and recovers well when out of position. Moves exceptionally well laterally in his butterfly and excels at reading and reacting to shooters. Well-sized and fills up the lower half of the net. Flashes a quick glove hand. Has been dominant at lower levels.

Flaws: Doesn't get out enough to challenge shooters and cut off angles, and too often is caught deep in his crease. Rebound control is an issue, and often leaves him scrambling to recover. Too often relies on his great athleticism and size rather than on positioning and fundamentals.

Career Potential: Big, athletic goaltender with starter upside.
