A buyer for the money-losing Florida Panthers has been found and a deal should be announced within the next few weeks, two sources close to the situation said.

 
Despite the circumstance, Bettman seems to have pulled another franchise from financial despair.

In the last two years, the NHL has helped find owners for the financially troubled New Jersey Devils, St. Louis Blues, Dallas Stars and the bankrupt Phoenix Coyotes — and moved Atlanta to Winnipeg, where they are playing to sell out crowds.
 
 

 
 
This is good for the NHL, but I would love to see how anyone can revamp that team and that fanbase lol
