The Bucs' new regime has already proven that it's unafraid of dealing some of its starters.
Might current backup (and former starter) QB Mike Glennon, Tampa Bay's third round pick in 2013, be next on the block?
According to ESPN's Adam Caplan, speaking on WDAE radio earlier this week, that might be the case now that new head coach Lovie Smith is calling the shots instead of Greg Schiano.
“It's obvious to me and people around the league that [the Bucs] are going to try and move him,” Caplan said via The Tampa Tribune. “They have denied this but I think Mike Glennon is going to be as good as gone.”
The Bucs signed journeyman Josh McCown in March, and Smith has revealed that the team would consider drafting a QB with the seventh overall pick. Manziel, anyone? McCown was immediately named Smith's starter, leaving Glennon in an awkward position with a new staff.
Glennon started 13 games last year and proved himself more than a serviceable replacement for Josh Freeman. He threw for more than 2,500 yards and tossed 19 touchdowns to just nine interceptions.
Might a team in need of a decent QB part with a mid-round pick in next week's draft? Perhaps.

Late-ish round pick and space on the QB depth chart probably. They're reportedly "very interested" in Manziel.

Who would even want him? lol. I mean he isn't terrible, but why waste trading what would be a pick on him when you can just draft a QB.
