Bucs will don Orange again in '09

According to the St. Petersburg Times, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have plans in place to introduce a "Ring of Honor" next season.

Along with inducting some of the team's legendary players and personnel, the team will wear their throwback orange jerseys for at least 1 game in 2009.

Next season marks the 30th anniversary of the 1979 team that won the NFC Central for its first playoff berth and fell one victory shy of the Super Bowl. -AE

i love throwback jerseys, especially the ones the jets are rocking this year.

I'd have to agree with Chris Berman on this one.

As soon as those orange creme-colored jerseys finally grew on me...Tampa Bay switched it all up.

Can't wait to see them come back out next season.

Sounds like Tampa is doing it right though...1 game and done. Talk about the Jets and their "throwbacks"...how many freaking weeks in the season do they plan on calling themselves "Titans"?
