On Sat., the Nationals will place 3B Ryan Zimmerman on the 15-Day DL & recall OF Bryce Harper, who will make his MLB debut at Dodger Stadium

Strasburg pitching on Saturday too.

Waaay too early for this kid to see the majors. He isn't necessary doing bad at Triple-A but his at-bats don't support a call-up at 19 years old. I think his game and his personality need to mature more before this should even be considered by the Nats.

Odds are that he'll go back down to the minors once Zimmerman comes off the DL anyway.

I hope this is temporary, until zimmerman comes back, because it's too soon for him. I know the media has been itching to see him in the majors. I'm curious to see how he does, but in a sense he's stepping in for the production they'll lack without zimmerman and that's a big hole to fill, even if just temporary.

Bryce is 0-2 through 5 innings. Playing LF tonight.

His first MLB hit was an absolute frozen rope. He also threw a strike from LF that would have easily had the runner beat if Ramos didn't misplay it.
