Browns worst in the NFL at finding All-Pros in the

When the Cleveland Plain Dealer reviewed the last 10 NFL All-Pro teams to determine which NFL teams did the best and worst job of drafting talent, it should have come as no surprise that the Browns were last on the list.

The Browns are last in the league in producing All-Pros through the draft, selecting just two players who have made AP All-Pro teams in the last 10 years. One of those two, 2005 first-round pick Braylon Edwards, had an All-Pro season in 2007 but was traded away in 2009, and even though he was an All-Pro, it’s hard to view that pick as a success for the Browns. The other Browns All-Pro, 2007 first-round pick Joe Thomas, was a rare draft success for the Browns.

It should come as no surprise that the Browns’ record over the last 10 years, 56-104, is the second-worst in the NFL. The only team with a worse record over the last decade is Detroit, which is also second to Cleveland in its failure to find All-Pros in the draft.

At the top of the list is New England, which has drafted 15 All-Pros. At 123-37, the Patriots have by far the best record in the NFL over the last decade.

I don't think this is a fair way to judge drafting to be honest...

First: the all pro teams are a joke.

Second: D'Qwell Jackson could have easily been an "all pro" in either 08 or 11 if he was on a better team. Same with Haden as a rookie, and he should be on one going forward.

Not to say that the Browns are good drafters... but still.
