NFL.com - The Browns, who drafted Brandon Weeden with their second pick in the first round of the NFL Draft on Thursday night, tried to engage the Colts in talks regarding the first pick and Andrew Luck.

Instead, they took Weeden, perhaps spelling the end for Colt McCoy in Cleveland.

Mike Holmgren reportedly had two conversations with Indianapolis, with one of the talks lasting five minutes
5 minutes? i can imagine that convo lol.

This confirms what we already figured: the Browns have no faith in Colt McCoy longterm

Holmgren said this basically as a joke, and the article left out the main part about him pointing out one of the conversations was him sitting near a pool with a drink in his hand when he discussed a trade for #1.
