Yahoo! Sports - The Browns were ready to let Peyton Hillis go around midseason, but now they want to keep the running back.

Hillis missed five games with a hamstring injury and also skipped a contest because of strep throat in 2011.

Since then, though, Hillis has worked his way back into the team's good graces, according to a source.

Cleveland has until March 13 to sign him without other teams being able to bid on him.

I'd sign him but draft a speed RB in the 3rd round.

Might be solid next year, since the Madden Curse will be lifted.

He's talented, injuries killed his season last year.

He's always gonna be hurt. Too physical of a runner to last more than a few years injuryless. I'd let him go.

Which is why I would draft a specialist RB to compliment him and limit his touches.

The only way he'd stay healthy is with like 10 touches a game. Technically he should be the compliment to someone else. And that's not even worth it assuming he wants a pretty big contract.

Injuries have always killed him. It's why he was worthless to the Broncos.

Like you guys said, he's a compliment. The game is too brutal now to have such physical runners. It's why Jacobs is so soft now. Same thing will happen to Hillis if they keep giving him so many carries -- if he wants to stay healthy, he has to ease up, and then he plays like shit.

All he missed was 6 games? Wow, seemed like a lot more.

Browns are like a woman on her period. Who knows what they're gonna do.
