Let's suppose for a moment that new Denver coach Josh McDaniels really does have an interest in trading for Brady Quinn -- or at least he did at one time. Yes, he may have been trying to steal Shaun Rogers in a package that included Quinn with Jay Cutler and a third team involved. But the point was McDaniels asked for Quinn, not Derek Anderson. 2. When it came time to pick between Quinn and Anderson, the former QB coach and erstwhile offensive coordinator for Bill Belichick in New England favored Quinn. 3. Yes, the son of famed Ohio high school coach Thom McDaniels could be wrong.
