LeBron James lost his headband during the fourth quarter of the Game 6 comeback win by the Miami Heat.

James was asked on Wednesday whether he will wear it for Game 7 on Thursday.

"I'll probably start with it, I'm a little superstitious," said James.

James has played with a headband throughout his career.

If he would have shaved his head before game 7, I would have become a Heat fan.

LOL "superstitious." Excuses excuses he's trying to hide his receding hairline!

Never knew he had a pretty big scar under there as well.

Damn. I was hoping this would be the end of the absurd headband fad.

There are only a few ways to look ridiculous on a basketball court, and the headband is one of them.

You know, it also has a function.

Maybe it does, but that's not why most people started wearing them in the first place.

I'm pretty sure people thought it looked cool when, in fact, it looks completely ridiculous. I can't wait for the headband fad to die completely. It's slowly begun to disappear. It is not difficult to play basketball with head sweat, so even if that is its function, it's completely arbitrary.

no your reasoning behind why theyre just a fad. they serve a purpose and if you look at the players headbands and the end of a game theyre drenched so they do actually serve the purpose theyre supposed to..
