Man the Braves traded

Yunel Escobar
Jo-Jo Reyes

for

Alex Gonzalez
Tim Collins
Tyler Pastronicky

Dumb move IMO but they always do stuff like this. Next its gonna be McCann and I'm not joking X_X

Yea, I thought this was a dumb move by the Braves. Yunel is a pretty good SS although he hasnt played well this year. Alex Gonzalez is just old as hell and I dont know why they would want to trade for him, although he started off this year really well.

Trading a good young shortstop for an old veteran one...nice

I also have a feeling that Yunel is gonna beast up in Toronto...just sayin. IDK why they even did this deal. Maybe they're trying to save money for the future or something IDK because Yunel is gonna be a good player for years to come if he hasn't already proved that with his contributions to the club.

Good move by AA. AGon Was a fan favourite in TDot, he really contributed offensively and defensively, I'll miss him. I think yunel is gonna be a pretty solid number 2 hitter though, I love his swing. Jays have a decent core of SS now.

He's young but not that young.. 27. He sucks this year, and I'm not sure switching to the AL is going to help him but you never know. Fred Lewis has played alright since his move to the Jays. We'll see.

I like it for the Braves, Gonzo is having a career year and the Braves are in first. Only helps.

I think it will help him a bit since there are more friendly hitting parks in the AL especially the East.

Braves have a SS in AAA named Diory Hernandez who's batted over .300 last 2 seasons -- might be making room for him.
