Braves Acquire RP O'Flaherty

General manager John Coppolella & Co. acquired former Braves reliever Eric O'Flaherty for cash in a trade with the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday.

Atlanta needed left-handed bullpen help and the Pirates had O'Flaherty to spare. His numbers have tailed a bit but he once formed a platoon with Craig Kimbrel and Jonny Venters to close out Braves' games. Kimbrel obviously emerged as the Atlanta closer and O'Flaherty ended up in Seattle by way of waivers.

That's pretty funny he is now back where it all happened with that amazing bullpen. I really hope he puts it back together because I really like the guy.
