This is great news for the Bucs.Insisting he's "ahead of schedule" in his recovery from a "minor microfracture" procedure on his knee, Da'Quan Bowers believes he will be ready for training camp.
Even though doctors told him they had to do "additional work," Bowers initially believed his surgery was a simple scope until hearing the reports of teams scared off by the procedure. He's already running, cutting, and jumping -- just not at optimum strength. Even if Bowers is ready to go by training camp, it's a good bet that he'll be managed with kid gloves throughout his rookie season.

It's going to be interesting to see how Bowers can prove his worth throughout his NFL career. This is easily going to be one of the most magnified picks of the 2011 NFL Draft. I hope his knee allows him some success in this league.
