This would be GREAT, considering we only have a third of the team.Marc-Andre Bergeron should sign with an NHL club any day now and sources tell TrueHockey.com that one of the clubs inquiring has been the St. Louis Blues.
The Blues would ideally first move a defenseman for a forward, and then sign Bergeron. But those plans may have been derailed when they lost Erik Johnson to injury last night. It's unclear how serious the injury is, but Alex Pietrangelo and Roman Polak are also out, so the Blues may be hesitant to deal a defenseman at this point.
However, the Blues lost David Perron, T.J. Oshie and Andy McDonald up front due to injury, so the prospect of upgrading at forward plus adding Bergeron may be alluring.
